Research on Shanxi’s integration and recombination of coal resources and its development of regional economy

Coal mining is the pillar industry of Shanxi Province, and it has developed with the mode of rough increasing economic all the time. In order to change this traditional economic development mode, Shanxi Province has implemented the strategy of integrating and recombining the coal resources. For the purpose of studying integration and restructuring of the coal resources effects on the Shanxi’s economic development, this paper discussed the strategy’s effects on the Shanxi’s Gross National Product and Gross Industrial Product, and the statistics were analyzed and researched. Finally, using the Pearl curve model and least square method, this paper analyzed and forecasted Shanxi’s economic trend under the related strategy about the coal resources. The results show that integration and restructuring of the coal resources has a great role in promoting on regional economic development in Shanxi Province, total GDP growth rate of Shanxi Province is increased by nearly 5 percentages than the former of implementing this strategy.
