Study on Flotation of Copper-Cobalt Ore

Abstract

The research on the mineral processing separation of copper-cobalt ore(Cu-Co ore)was expounded.The ore was treated witha selective flotation process.The copper grade of the concentrate and the recovery of copper are 21 12% and 86 21% respectively.The cobalt grade of the concentrate and the recovery of cobalt are 32% and 41 63% respectively.The gold and silver in the ore was reclaimed as well.The paper also discussed the major factors that affect the separation of copper and cobalt.
