Abstract

This case researched one complex copper ore in somewhere of Tibet. The technological flowsheet is the flotation of sulphide copper ore first, and then the flotation of oxide copper ore.The result of this research is: concentrate grade of sulphide copper ore is 33.83% ;concentrate recovery of sulphide copper ore is 69.71% ;concentrate grade of oxide copper ore is 16.84% ;concentrate recovery of oxide copper ore is 17.34% ;and the total concentrate grade of copper ore is 28.17% ;and the total concentrate recovery of copper ore is 87.06%. Because tailings grade of copper is still high to 0.40%, and the main copper in tailings is oxide copper (by microscopic analysis),and the main dissemination characteristic is inclusion in gangues,so this case researched the treatment of tailings. This treatment includes leaching experiments using ammonia and sulfuric acid in different time and different density. The result indicates: That leach the tailings with certain quality of sulfuric acid could reduce the tailings grade to 0.11%. So this research full indicates that this copper ore possesses high values for copper ore resource.
