Study on Collected Works of Poems by Liu'e

Collected Works of Poems by liu'e is the best poem collection by now,which is published by Qilu Publishing House and for various reasons has not drawn attention of educational circles so far.Although there are only 113 poems in the works,it is of great academic value.Liu'e's poems can be divided into the poems worrying about the people,the poems recording and narrating traveling,the poems about the school of Taigu and the poems describing the relations between men and women.With this classification,the present paper believes that these poems not only have a very high artistic achievement but also have enormous value of history of poetry,ethics and historical data.Through the study we can find out that scholar's atmosphere and social conduct at the reign of Emperors Tongzhi and Guang Xu in the Qing Dynasty.
