Abstract

Objective: To explore the effect and safety of Aripiprazole and Clozapine in treating schizophrenia. Methods: 60 patients were randomly divided into Aripiprazole group and Clozapine group. The positive and negative symptoms were recorded before treatment and 1,2,4,6 and 8 weeks after treatment. The side-effect was evaluated by TESS.Results:No efficacy difference was found between the two groups.Patients in Aripiprazole group showed a good effect on recognition and negative symptoms, and the side-effect was also less than that of Clozapine group. Conclusion: Aripiprazole is safe, effective drug in treating schizophrenia.
