MCNAMARA CEPHALOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF ADULTS WITH NORMAL OCCLUSION

Abstract

Objective:To obtain the refered value of McNamara cephalometric analysis in Inner Mongolian adults with normal occlusion.Methods:100 Mongolian adults(male 50 and female 50)and 100 Han adults(male 50 and female 50)in Inner Mongolia with normal occlusion were chosen.Lateral cephalograms of the subject were taken respectively with cephalometric roentgenography.McNamara analysis was conducted on basis of the lateral cephalograms.Results:There was difference in some values of McNamara analysis between male and female of Han and Mongolian adults in Inner Mongolia.The comparative results between Mongolian and Han adults were different in some items.Conclusion:There are sexual,ethnological difference of McNamara analysis in adults with normal occlusion.
