MCNAMARA CEPHALOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF INNER MONGOLIAN ADULTS WITH NORMAL OCCLUSION

Abstract

Objective:To obtain the refered value of McNamara cephalometric analysis in Inner Mongolian adults with normal occlusion.Methods:100 Hans adults(50 males and 50 females) in Inner Mongolia with normal occlusion were chosen.Lateral cephalograms of the subject are taken respectively with a roentgenographic cephalometer.McNamara analysis was conducted on basis of the lateral cephalograms.Results:There was difference in some values of McNamara analysis between male and female of Hans adults in Inner Mongolia.The comparative results between Inner Mongolian Hans and Shanghai adults were different in some items.Conclusion:There was sexual,regional difference of McNamara analysis in adults with normal occlusion.
