Abstract
Based on the direct chemiluminescence reaction of thiamine (VB1) and riboflavi n (VB2) with hexacyanoferrate (Ⅲ) in sodium hydroxide medium, a novel high pe rformance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-chemiluminescence (CL) detection method for simultaneous determination of VB1 and VB2 was developed. The proposed m ethod has been applied satisfactorily to the determination of VB1 and VB2 in a pharmaceutical preparation. The chemiluminescence intensity was linear with V B1 and VB2 concentrations in the ranges of 10×10-3-10 g/L and 10×10-3-01 g/L, respectively. The limits of detection (LOD) for VB1 and VB2 were 2×10-4 g/L and 8×10-4 g/L, re spectively. The relative standard deviations (RSD) (n=11) were 28% for 1.0×10-2 g/L VB1, and 09% for 10×10-2 g/L VB 2.
