Abstract

Objective To discuss the content changes of high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and its influence on prognosis of the cerebrovascular disease. Methods hs-CRP level of 36 patients with cerebrovascular infarction and 32 patients with intracerebral hemorrhage were measured,35 cases of normal health examination were selected as a control group. Detecting the hs-CRP in CVD patients and in control group by particle-enhanced turbidimetric immunoassay(PETIA)technique, then analyzing the data with t-test and ROC curves. The correlation between hs-CRP and the cerebrovascular disease were analyzed. Results There was significant difference in the serum level of high sensitive C-reactive protein between the CVD group and the control group(P0.01). There was no significant difference of hs-CRP level between cerebrovascular infarction group and intracerebral hemorrhage group(P0.05),and strong positive correlations were observed between the hs-CRP level and systolic pressure, the serum fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL-C and HDL-C by analysis using the multivariate stepwise regression model (all P0.01). Conclusion High sensitive C-reactive protein as a risk factor for CVD,and hs-CRP has a strong association with CVD, and it is regarded as an indication for the prognosis of CVD.
