Abstract
The key of hepatic fibrosis is the activation of hepatic stellate cells( HSCs).And the essence is extracellular matrix( ECM) synthesis more than degradation.TGF-β1 not only affects the activation of HSC,but also affects the synthesis and degradation of ECM.So it plays an important role in the occurrence and development of HF.The aim of this article is to illustrate the relationship between TGF-β1 and HF through the signal pathways of TGF-β1 and their crosstalk.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
