Abstract
Objective To discuss the reasons,the prevention and cure of postoperative complications of tension-free inguinal hernia repair.Methods Retrospective analyzed 316 cases of tension-free inguinal hernia repair in our hospital from August 2002 to October 2010.Results All cases were successful without severe complications,there were no recurrences in the duration of follow-up ranged form 5 months to 46 months.Conclusion Tension-free inguinal hernia repair is a safe and effective surgical method.The postoperative complications can be decreased by correct recognition of anatomic structure in groin region,a standard operation technique and rational pre/post-operation therapy.
