Analysis of Clinical Efficacy of Acitretin Combined with Ultraviolet Irradiation for the Treatment of Psoriasis Vulgaris

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acitretin combined with ultraviolet irradiation for the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris.Methods 106 patients with psoriasis vulgaris selected were randomly divided into two groups,53 patients received conventional narrow band ultraviolet therapy in control group,based on the control group 53 patients in treatment group were given the oral acitretin treatment,the cure rates and adverse reactions were observed.Results The total effective rate was 92.4% in treatment group,66.0% in control group,there was statistically significant difference(P 0.05);adverse reaction rates between the two groups were also statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Acitretin combined with ultraviolet irradiation for the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris has better healing effect,while high doses can cause dry skin,itching,scaling,liver and kidney dysfunction and other adverse reactions.Therefore under the circumstance of reasonable acitretin control the reasonable use of acitretin combined with ultraviolet irradiation for the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris is the clinically effective method.
