Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and security of Narrow-band Ultraviolet B (NB-UVB) combined with Acitretin A in treating patients with psoriasis vulgaris. Methods 100 cases were given acitretin orally (10 mg per time, twice a day)and randomly divided into two groups, meanwhile, the patients of treatment group were treated by NB-UVB(three times per week), total treatment time was 8 weeks, its efficacy was observed and followed up for 6 months. Results The effective rate in treating group was 96.00% and control group was 44.00%, there were significant difference between them(P0.01). The treatment group had pigmentation, dry desquamation, itching and other adverse reactions which could be relieved by symptomatic treatment. Conclusion NB-UVB combined with acitretin in treating patients with psoriasis vulgaris is more effective and safe.
