Abstract
Objective:To explore the effective therapeutic measures for severe brain injury so as to reduce the mortality.Methods:Seventy three patients with severe brain injuries admitted to our departement from July 1995 to Oct 1999 were analyzed retrospectively.Results:Of the 73 patients,54 survived(73.97%) and 19 died( 26.03 %).Conclusions:The prognosis of patients with severe brain injuries can be improved by early resuscitation,timely operation and synthetic treatment after operation.
