Observation on the Curative Effect of Channel Trabeculectomy in Treatment of Neovascular Glaucomas

Abstract

Objective: To investigate the efficacy of channel trabeculectomy in treatment of neovascular glaucomas.Methods: 12 caseas of neovascular glaucoma(12 eyes),of which 8 cases were central retinal vein occlusion,2 cases were diabetic retinopathy,2 cases were acute angle-closure glaucoma in absolute phase.Postoperative follow-up for iris neovascularization,intraocular pressure,filtering bleb,vision change.Results: Some neovascularization regressed after operation,the average IOP was 17.30±2.75 mmHg,10 patients had functional filtering bleb,eyesight was not increase.Conclusion: Channel trabeculectomy is an effective and safe method to treat neovascular glaucoma.
