Abstract
Objective To analyse correlation factor of paraquat intoxication prognosis and to look for rational therapy in order to improve survival rate. Methods The clinical materials of 28 paraquat intoxication cases were retrospectively analysed in our hospital. Results Paraquat concentration in plasma were significantly different before hemoperfusion(HP)and after HP(P0.01),and SOD activity had statistical significance(P0.05).The less paraquat was,the earlier visiting time and first HP time was,and the better prognosis was. Conclusions Many factors could influence paraquat intoxication prognosis, but key factors were intoxicating dose, visiting time and first HP time.Early treatment of paraquat intoxication could prolong patient's life and lower the mortality.
