Abstract
Taking Disperse Violet 900,Red 902,Blue 825 and Orange BROD as examples, the resistance to alkali and oxidation of disperse dyes are compared, and one-bath-one-step and one-bath-two-step alkaline desizing and dyeing processes in NaOH solution are discussed. The results show that the four disperse dyes have good resistance to alkali and oxidation, and are suitable for alkaline dyeing in NaOH solution. The dyeing results of one-bath-one-step process is the same as those of one-bath-two-step process, and the fabrics have good elasticity, softness and smoothness.Because of strength loss in alkaline process, dyeing time should be carefully controlled.
