Multi-slice Spiral CT Angiography of Portal Vein and Its Clinical Applications

Abstract

Objective:To study the technique of Multi-slice spiral portal vein angiography and its clinical applications.Methods:Consulting articles and reviews about portal vein angiography from 1992 to 2005 by CNKI,CQVIP and PubMed,then reviewing the technique of Multi-slice spiral portal vein angiography and its clinical applications.Results:Multi-slice spiral portal vein angiography had important clinical value.It is advantageous to manifest liver segment and varicosis caused portal hypertension,respectable assessment of malignant tumors,evaluation before and after liver transplantation and TIPSS.Conclusion:Multi-slice spiral CT portography has many advantages such as high speed,high resolution and three-dimensional imaging which are far superior to traditional angiography,it is an clinically used ideal imaging of the portal vein.
