Abstract
Objective To study the value of full-field digital mammography in diagnosing ductal carcinoma in situ. Methods Thirty-two cases confirmed by surgery and pathology were collected and retrospectively analyzed in this study. All cases had been examined with full-field digital mammography before surgery. Results Malignant calcification was noted in 29 cases,of them, lump was detected in 4 cases, architecture distortion in 2 cases, focal asymmetrical density in 8 cases.3 cases were normal. The diagnosis rate of full-field digital mammography was 81.25%.Conclusion Full-field digital mammography had great value in diagnosis of ductal carcinoma in situ.Malignant calcification was most common feature of ductal carcinoma in situ, while architecture distortion and focal asymmetrical density were the most easily overlooked.
