Abstract

Since the spreading of Western learning to China and ideological reform, modern knowledge-subject education took the place of traditional classic education.Scientism had a great impact on the humanistic field, dropping literature and art, religion, and moral philosophy in the limitations of scientific thinking regardless of humanistic function in thinking of emotion, willpower, mind and natural law.According to traditional Chinese culture, humanistic thinking can be drawn into Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism, which can be realized through the combination of body and mind. The imbalance between humanistic thinking and scientific thinking is a serious issue which should be addressed. It can be explored from three aspects: humanistic individual life, humanistic education in life and humanistic studies towards life.
