Abstract
A strain of endophytic fungus was isolated from the taxus Chinensis in the Qinling mountains. It was cultured in the liquid potato medium. By means of the thin layer chromatagraphy, TLC Scanner, the cultures was analyzed and determined. The result shows this strain of fungus can produce taxol. The content of taxol in the fungus which was determined by HPLC was about 14.2 μg/L.
