Treatment of the Patellar Fracture 346 Cases with the Memory Alloy Patellar Holder

Abstract

Objective:To explore the effect of the treatment of the patellar fracture with the memory alloy patellar holder. Methods:346 patients with pateUar fracture was treated with the memory alloy aptellar holder,the clinical efficacy was evalua- ted.Results:346 cases were operated,observation found the mean time of fracture union was 8 weeks and knee joint rehabili- tation was 7.5 weeks.302 cases were evaluated as excellent,44 as good.Conclusion:The memory alloy patellar holder can be applied with better results to heal all kinds of patellar fracture.It can make functional exercise earlier and joint function reha- bilitation better because of stable fixation.
