Preparation of the Water-in-water Emulsoin of Cationic Polyacrylamide by Dispersion Polymerization

Abstract

The water-in-water emulsion of cationic polyacrylamide was prepared by dispersion polymerization in an aqueous solution of ammo- nium sulfate.The effects of the dosage of ammonium sulfate,the temperature of reaction,the speed of stirring and the time of reaction on the polymerization reaction were studied.And the configurations of CPAM were characterized.
