Disperse pad dyeing of polyester/polyamide superfine nonwoven fabric

Abstract

Pad dyeing was carried out on superfine PET/PA non-woven fabric with Dianix disperse dye.Influences of dosage of alginate sodium,diffusion accelerator PB and curing condition on K/S value and evenness were discussed.The optimum pad dyeing process was determined as follows:dyeing with alginate sodium 5 g/L,diffusion accelerator PB 5 g/L and curing at 170 ℃ for 2 minutes.The dyeings featured good color fastness with all above grade 3.
