Combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in treatment of severe acute pancreatitis

Abstract

Objective To compare the effects of the combination treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in treatment of severe acute pancreatitis(SAP).Methods 44 cases of(SAP)were randomly divided into 2 groups,the control group(n=20)and the treatment group(n=24).Routine treatment were given in both groups,otherwise the Chinese medicine Qingyi Tang was used in the treatment.Results the operation rate and the complication of the treatment group is obviously lower than that of the control group(P0.05),the time of being hospitalized and the gut function recovery of the treatment group is also obviously lower than that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion The combination treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine is obviously better than the conservation treatment with raising the treatment effects.
