Abstract
Objective: This behavioral survey in Jiangsu province was aimed to gain an insight into the behavioral features among Men Who Have Sex with Men(MSM) so as to provide scientific basis for policy-makers. Methods: Anonymous transect survey was conducted by spot field investigation with MSM in bars and other public houses.Results: There were total 222 questionnaires and the results showed that within recent 6 months,208(94.12%) of MSM who had sex behavior with male partners,45.95% of which had sex behavior with female partners.13.57% and 21.27% of participants who had the behavior of buy-sex and sell-sex respectively.About 80.19% of MSM have taken some preventive measures. 63.06% of them had considered detecting HIV/AID.Conclusion: The high risk behaviors which relate to HIV/AIDS are common seen among the MSM population in Jiangsu.It is high likely that HIV/AIDS may popularize 1among MSM if the preventive program and behavioval intervention could not conduct as soon as possible.
