Influence of Different Kidney-Tonifying Methods on β_2 Adrenergic Receptor mRNA in Pulmonary Tissue of Asthmatic Rats

In order to observe influence of different kidney tonifying methods on β 2 adrenergic receptor mRNA (β 2 ARmRNA)in pulmonary tissue of asthmatic rats,the asthma models were set up by inducing SD rats with egg albumin and randomly divided into the five groups:Model Group(A),Praziquantel Group(B),Kidney Yin Tonifying Group(C),Kidney Yang Tonifying Group(D),Yin and Yang Tonifying Group(E),and Control Group(F)to check β 2 ARmRNA in the pulmonary tissue of the rats with polymerization reaction of reverse transcriptase.The results showed that the decreased β 2 ARmRNA in the model rats could be elevated remarkably in the kidney yang tonifying group and praziquantel group,but there was no such a function in the kidney yin tonifying group.The conclusion if that the functions of tonifying the kidney yin and tonifying the kidney yang on β 2 ARmRNA are different.
