Effects of Bushen Jianpi Recipe on Expression of PKC Protein in Hypothalamus in rats with Osteoporosis

Abstract

Objective:To explore osteoporosis compared with the pathological mechanisms as well as tonifying kidney and tonifying spleen medicine intervention of osteoporosis.Methods:By using ovariectomy,we established the rat model of osteoporosis due to Kidney-deficiency.We had given the factors interfere with ton-ifying kidney and tonifying spleen medicine orally 3 months.Then get the materials and test the index by Western blotting method.Results Compared with the normal group,osteoporosis model blank group decreased bone mineral density(P 0.01);the protein expression of PKCα and PKCβ2 in hypothalamus increased significantly(P 0.01).With a blank model group,tonifying kidney medicine(highdose group) can be a significant increase in bone mineral density(P 0.01),while the role of ton-ifying spleen medicine was not obvious,and tonifying Kidney medicine(highdose group)significantly different(P 0.01);but tonifying Kidney and tonifying spleen medicine can be reduced in the hypothalamus of rat model of PKCα and PKCβ2 pro-tein expression(P 0.01).Conclusion:The role of tonifying Kidney medicine for prevention and treatment of osteoporosis is better than tonifying spleen medicine;the incidence of osteoporosis may be related to changes in the brain related to PKC,tonifying Kidney,tonifying spleen all of its Chinese medicine with the adjustment on PKC,and the role of tonifying Kidney medicine is better than tonifying Spleen med-icine.
