Abstract
Objective To investigate the sanitary condition and qualified rate of drinking water in rural area in Anhui. Methods According to geography and population in Anhui,we selected 19 city(or county) to investigate type of water source, type of water supply, water contamination and water quality inspection of drinking water.Sanitary quality of drinking water was evaluated based on Criteria for Implementing the Hygienic Standards for Drinking water in Countryside. Results 303 centralized water supply departments and 189 decentralized water supply departments were investigated.984 water samples(606 from centralized water supply departments and 378 from decentralized water departments) were inspected.Qualified rates of drinking water were 40.96% in grade 2 and 58.03% in grade 3.Conclusions The qualified rate of drinking water was lower and water contamination was serious in rural area. There was a hidden safety danger in drinking water.
