Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of endovenous laser treatment(EVLT) in treating lower limbs varicosities. Methods:From June 2005 to June 2010,94 lower limbs with varicosities in 68 cases were treated with endovenous laser treatment(EVLT).Analysis the clinical data of Preoperative and postoperative. Results: Skin burns in 5 cases and subcutaneous in duration in 14 cases.Pigmentation decreased or disappeared significant improvement in eczematous dermatitis. No residual varicose vein and no recurrence. The average hospitalization time is 5 days. Conclusions: EVLT is a minimally invasive surgery for lower limbs varicosities. The surgical operation is simple and the curative effect is effective. It can meet the requirement of the leg beauty. But the surgical indications should be strictly controlled and the methods of operation should be paid attention to.
