Abstract

Objective:To study the antioxidant effect of soybean isoflavone(SI)on vein enˉdothelial cells which were damaged by oxidized low-density lipoprotein(ox-LDL).Methods:Vein endothelial cells were cultured in vitro and divided into5groups which was control,ox-LDL,VE+ox-LDL,SI-L?M?H+ox-LDL respectively.Endothelial cells were incubated with ox-LDL for24hours after they were incubated with vitamin E(VE)and different dose of SI for24hours.Then,MDA?SOD?GSH-PX?the releasing of LDH and the consentrition of NO of endothelial cells were measured. Results:The level of MDA and releasing percentage of LDH in ox-LDL damaged group were remarkable higher than that in the other groups(P0.05).The activities of SOD?GSH-PX and the concentrition of NO in ox-LDL damaged group were lower than that in the other groups(P0.05).In addition, compared SI-M+ox-LDL group with VE+ox-LDL group, there was no significant difference(P0.05).Concluˉsion:SI can prevent human vein endothelial cells from oxidized low-density lipoprotein inˉduced oxidative injury.
