Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of superselective endovascular embolization for intractable epistaxis under digital subtraction angiography (DSA ). Methods: 37 patients with idiopathic intractable epistaxis were treated with superselective endovascular embolization under DSA. Results: 35 of these patients were cured after 1 time of superselective endovascular embolizat ion.2 of these was cured after 2days. Conclusion: Superselective endovascular embolization is though to be a good choice for those patients with intractable epistaxis after conservative therapy.
