Application of digital subtraction angiography in Intractable epistaxis and Vascular tumor of nasopharynx

Objettive To evaluate the efficacy and complicatins of digital subtraction angiography in the treatment Intractable epistaxis and Vascular tumor of nasopharynx.Methods 21 patients with acute and intractable epistaxis who had benn treated by transarterial embolization were followed up for 30days.Bleeding and clinical complications were observed to evaluate the therapeutiac efficacy.Result 21(100%) patients were successfully finished their procedure.Oronasal hemoffhage was completely controlled or obviously reduced in 20 patients.1 patients developed recurrent bleeding in 30 days after the first procedure.All patients had no severe clinical complications while 9 patients developed light maxillofacial region swell,ache,anaesthsia and gape limited.Conclusion Digital subtraction angiography has great application prospect of control hemorrhage nose and combination of clinical practice about superselective embolization in supplied blood of vascular tumor.
