Abstract

The theories and methods of natural scene analysis,landscape ecology analysis,recreation analysis and visional landscape analysis are applied in green space system planning of Rongchang county of Chongqing.Based on these analyses,the general goal and phased targets of creating a landscape garden city for the period of 2006-2020 are proposed.The projected layout structure is characterized by harmony of mountains,rivers,city,forests and humans and Rongchang will become a comfortable city surrounded by clear water and green trees.
