Abstract
Objective To develop an effective quality control method for Dabaidu Capsules. Method Emodin and Chrysophanol in Dabaidu Capsules was determined by RP-HPLC, using Dikma C18(150 mm×4. 6 mm 5 μm) column, Methanol-acetonitrile-0. 1%phosphoric acid (85:3:20) as mobile phase and UV detector at 254 nm. The flow rate was 0. 8 mL·min-1. Results The linearity range of Emodin and Chrysophanol was 0. 967-9. 67μg mL-1 and 2. 152-21. 52μg. mL-1 respectively, the average recovery of Emodin was 95.1% with RSD 1. 76% ;and that of Chrysophanol was 94. 5%with RSD 1. 81%. Conclusion The method is simple, rapid, accurate and repreatable. It can be used for determination of Emodin and Chrysophanol in Dabaidu Capsules.
