Abstract
Sima Yan,Emperor Wu of Jin Dynasty,had a strong ambition to attack the kingdom of Wu when he became the emperor for the first time.However,the military plans had been held for as long as fourteen years because of many reasons.China had finally been reunified in 280 because of Emperor Wu's strong determination and extraordinary power of decision-making.In this article,the author has analyzed the unfavorable factors that have prevented Emperor Wu from carrying out his military attack on the Kingdom of Wu,discussed about his countermeasures to solve the difficulties and the reasons that why the Emperor Wu had such a strong determination of launching a military attack.
