Abstract
In the Qing Dynasty,renowned ancient pronunciation scientists Wang Nian-sun and Jiang You-gao have extremely similar theory,but they have a dispute on the independence or not question in rhyme zhi(至).Wang considers that rhyme zhi(至) ought to be divided from rhyme zhi(脂) and Jiang has the opposite opinion.Both of them have proposed their own reasons,but they cannot persuade each other.This discussion enlightens Wang Li and other younger generation scholars.They finally solve this issue and complete the perfect pattern which three rhymes matched by zhi(脂),zhi(质) and zhen(真),or by wei(微),wu(物) and wen(文).
