Effects of Three Kinds of Polysaccharides on Immune Function of Mice

Abstract

For studying the immune function of the astragalus polysaccharides,yeast cell wall polysaccharides,mycelial polysaccharides of Cordyceps,this test was divided into a control group,APS group,the yeast cell wall polysaccharide group,Cordyceps mycelial polysaccharide group,the group of combination of three kinds of polysaccharides.200 Kunming mice were randomly divided into five groups of 40 mice each.The mice in control group was given 1ml normal saline,the mice in experimental groups were given the corresponding polysaccharide 140 mg/kg.Weight gain rate,the index of immune organs,blood cell count and IgG,were measured every 10 d.The results showed that yeast cell wall polysaccharides,APS and mycelial polysaccharides of Cordyceps can significantly increase weight gain rate,the index of immune organs and blood cell count and IgG(P0.05).Compared with single polysaccharides,the compound polysaccharides has significant difference(P0.05).The single polysaccharide and the compound polysaccharides can improve immune function in mice,and the best is the compound polysaccharides.
