Abstract

The paper presents an in-circuit debug system based on JTAG standard for Longteng R2 microprocessors. The system with TAP controller can give some powerful debug functions with little hardware overhead. For example, setting instruction/data hardware breakpoints, setting single step execution mode, monitoring the registers and memory.
