Abstract

Based on the parent material of soil formation, the soil developed from calcareous sandstone is the best for good quality tobacco leaf production. Based on the soil types drab soil can produce the best quality tobacco leaves. Based on the development degree of soil, the developing soil can get better quality of tobacco leaves. The tobacco leaves produced in the low-lying land, clammy soil rich in fertilizer and clay usually possess poor quality. The effects of soil types on Zhongyan98, K326, Zhongyan100 varieties are not significant, but on Yunyan85 variety is significant. The relationship of the fertilizer level in soil and potassium in leaf with smoking evaluation is positive correlation. There is a negative correlation between smoking evaluation and chloride contents in tobacco leaf.
