Abstract
Rare earth complexes with benzotriazole-1-acetic acid and 1,10-phenanthroline were synthesized by the solution synthetic method. All the compounds were characterized by elemental analysis,coordination titration,molar conductivity,IR and UV spectra. The formula of these complexes might be Ln( L)3phen( Ln = Eu( III),Tb( III); HL = 1H-benzotriazole-1-acetic acid,Hbtaa;phen = 1,10-phenanthroline). The properties of the title complexes were studied by means of fluorescence spectra,thermal analysis and electrochemical methods. Luminescence measurement showed that the complexes emitted fluorescence.
