The diagnosis of capsule endoscopy on unexplained abdominal pain

Abstract
Objective To explore the diagnosis of OMOM capsule endoscopy on unexplained abdominal pain.Methods The outcomes of the patient accepted OMOM capsule endoscopy were analyzed,who suffered with suspected small intestinal diseases from December 2007 to July 2009.Results Twenty-eight of 39 patients(71.8%) were found the lesion.Twenty-seven of 39 cases(69.2%) were diagnosed.The detection rate of capsule endoscopy was higher than that of endoscopy,colonoscopy,small intestine barium meal examination and abdominal CT.Conclusion The endoscopic pictures of all 39 cases are clear.There are higher detection rate and diagnosis rate of capsule endoscopy in the diagnosis of unexplained abdominal pain,so OMOM capsule endoscopy is worthy of clinic.
