Abstract

The corrosion resistances of two electroless Ni-P plating with low or high phosphorus content being heat-treated at 750℃ were studied in different solutions. Results showed that the corrosion resistance of coating being heat-treated was prefer to that of without heat treatment. The main cause of better corrosion resistance was due to growth of granules, decrease of grain boundary area, and formation of thick and compact oxidation film on the coating surface.
