Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of Misoprostol by rectal administration combinded with Oxytocin on prevention of postpartum hemorrhage and its clinical value. Methods From January 2010 to August 2011 in our hospital, 98 cases of full-term pregnancy with postpartum hemorrhage risk factors were selected and randomly divided into control group and treatment group, 49 patients in each group, the control group was given early Oxytocin in the third stage of labor, the treatment group was given Misoprostol by rectal administration on the basis of the control group. The postpartum hemorrhage amount and postpartum hemorrhage incidence of two groups were compared and analyzed. Results The postpartum hemorrhage amount of treatment group was (170.32 ± 13.32) mL, which was significantly less than (289.47 ± 14.14) mL of the control group, the third stage of labor time of the observation group was (6.11 ± 0.54) min, which was significantly less than (10.24 ± 0.61) min of the control group, and the postpartum hemorrhage incidence of treatment group was lower than the control group (2.04% vs 12.24%), the difference was significant between two groups (P 0.05). Conclusion Carboprost Merhylate Suppositroies combinded with Oxytocin is a safe and effective method for prevention of postpartum hemorrhage, it is worth for further clinical promotion and application.
