Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of misoprostol combined with oxytocin in the prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage. Methods 80 patients with postpartum hemorrhage in our hospital from January 2013 to January 2014 were randomly divided into observation group and the control group, 40 cases in each group, the patients in the observation group were given misoprostol and oxytocin, while patients in the control group were only given oxytocin treatment, the amount of bleeding of 2 hours, 24 hours after delivery, the incidence rate of postpartum hemorrhage and adverse reactions. Results The amount of bleeding of 2 hours, 24 hours after delivery in the observation group was significantly lower than those in the control group(P0.05), the incidence rate of postpartum hemorrhage in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P0.05), there was no adverse reaction in two groups. Conclusion The clinical efficacy of misoprostol combined with oxytocin in the prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage is significant, this treatment plan can effectively reduce the amount of postpartum hemorrhage, has the value of clinical application.
