English Teaching Change in Higher Vocational Education

Abstract

The requirements of English teaching in higher vocational and technical education should be consistent with its teaching goal. That is we should cultivate technical and practical talents with comprehensive vocational abilities and general qualities facing production, management and service trades. In order to realize the goal, we should master new teaching methods and skills of foreign language. The essay holds a discussion about the content of teaching materials, teaching methods, practical training and the requirements for teachers, and it also raises its view on new teaching patterns.
