A Clinical Analysis on 50 Cases of Ovarian Neoplasms in Female Children and Adolescents

Abstract

Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics,diagnosis and treatment of ovarian neoplasm in female children and adolescents.Methods:The clinical materials of 50 cases ovarian neoplasm in female children and adolescents were analyzed.Results:Among 50 patients,germ cell tumor,epithelial ovarian tumor and sex-cord stromal tumor were 33(66%),15(30%)and 2(4%).Thirty-nine cases of ovarian benign neoplasm resume well without recurred in 1~6 months after operation.Among 11 cases of malignant ovarian neoplasm,1 was following up,2 dead,8 without evidence of disease recurrence during 4~48 months of follow-up after finish treating.Conclusion:Surgery should be the first-selected for the treatment of female children and adolescents.
