Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of Tongxinluo Capsule on vascular endothelial function in patients with coronary slow flow(CSF). Methods: 112 patients with CSF and normal coronary angiography were selected. All the patients were randomly divided into control group and Tongxinluo group, 56 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were given conventional treatment(nitrates, aspirin and Simvastatin), while patients in the Tongxinluo group were given Tongxinluo Capsule on the basis of conventional treatment. The endothelial-dependent flow-mediated vasodilation(FMD), the levels of plasma nitric oxide(NO), adiponectin(APN), endothelin-1(ET-1) of the brachial artery were observed in the two groups before and after 3months of treatment. Results: Compared with before treatment, FMD improved in the Tongxinluo group after treatment(P0.01), plasma NO and APN level increased(P0.01), while ET-1 level decreased(P0.01); Plasma NO, ET-1, APN and FMD of control group had no significantly changes before and after treatment. Conclusion: Tongxinluo Capsule can significantly improve the vascular endothelial function in patients with CSF.
