THE RISK ASSESSMENT OF GEOLOGICAL HAZARDS IN LUEYANG COUNTY ,SHAANXI PROVINCE

Abstract

After surveying and summing up the characteristics of geological hazards in Lueyang county of Shaanxi province,the risk of the every kind of geological hazard according to the present stability and the potential extent of injury of geological hazards is assessed Qualitatively.On the basis of the reappearance and the risk of the geological hazards,by considering the terrain and land form,the geological condition, human activity and the climate and hydrogeological condition,the geological hazards are divided into zones of different risks. The result will help to plan land,reduce hazards and take precautions against hazards.
