A Study on the Development of Higher Education of Vocational Technology in Henan Province

The expediting of the development of higher education of vocational technology carries great importance to the development of the economic society of Henan Province. Three locations of the development of higher education of vocational technology must be made clear: the location of the nature of its training objective, the location of its level in education and the location of its key elements. Among the countermeasures in solving the problems in existence, priority should be given to the solution of the following ones: the rigid mode of running schools, the backward teaching methods, the weakness in the link of practical work, the lack of double-qualification teachers and the ways in the supply of service to regional economy.
